First Impressions
It is our deepest desire for all who enter New Life’s doors to experience the culture of God’s Kingdom. Our King is glorified through every warm welcome, kind interaction, and service rendered.
Ambassadors
If you have questions about New Life ministries or services, our team of greeters will guide you to an ambassador. They are trained and prepared to assist with detailed information, and can connect you with the right people.
Greeters
With a big smile and a warm greeting, this team is always ready to open the door and welcome our church family and guests. They also provide helpful information and quickly assist as needed.
The Welcome Center
Are you outgoing, friendly and like to meet new people? Do you find fulfillment in helping people get connected in the church? This might be the place for you!
The welcome center ministry is one of many different functions of the church’s first impressions ministry which focuses on providing an anchor for church visitors and long-term members. The welcome center facilitates community building and effectively reflects the excellence of God’s kingdom.

Greeter
This person helps create a positive impression for visitors and regular attenders by opening the door to all those coming to the service, welcoming them with a warm smile and handshake, giving their name, and saying how glad we are to see them.
Ambassador
This person connects with the new and first-time visitors who have just been welcomed by the greeter so they can create a deeper connection and welcoming relationship with the visitors and guide them to relevant NLC ministries available to serve them in the service.
Welcome Center Host
This person is a source of detailed information for visitors and facilitates an impactful connection with them, maintains NLC literature and gifts to hand out, and ensures the café area is stocked and reflects order and cleanliness.
Welcome Center Cafe Host
The main purpose of a Café host is to greet people in the café and welcome them while refilling the coffee bar. Any visitors in the café area should be introduced (when practical) to the other welcome center hosts as well as ambassadors or the ambassador coordinator. Get to know our visitors and give them an NLC welcome!
