Missions Ministry
We recognize that one of the most significant ways to impact the world with the message of the Kingdom of Christ is through partnerships with organizations and missionaries who possess unique knowledge, expertise and are actively engaged in the mission field. By supporting these individuals and groups, we help ensure that discipleship can take place more effectively in various cultural contexts, bringing people to a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ.
As a missional church, we understand that the call to make disciples extends beyond our local communities, urging us to reach people of all nations and backgrounds. Our commitment is to go beyond borders, sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ globally and cultivating a movement of faith that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.

Key Initiatives:
- Integrating the mission’s mandate into our teaching and preaching.
- Organizing short-term mission trips locally and globally with various in-house groups.
- NLC will continue to equip our local church for God’s work around the world, imparting the vision of serving globally as well as in our local communities.
- We will Identify, educate and train up short & long-term missionaries from within our church.
- Host a biennial missions focused weekend.
- Invite ministry partners as well as NLC’s missionaries from around the world
- Host a missions’ conference.
- Host Nation’s Day to celebrate the tapestry of cultures that compose NLC.
- Provide a Missions educational track.
- Classes will onboard missions volunteer participants, offer training and equipping.

Mission Liaison
Each Mission Partner will have a Mission Ministry Team Member assigned to them known as their Mission Liaison. The Mission Liaison is the specific link between the Mission Partner in the field and the Mission Ministry Team of NLC. They are the ones who get specific information on prayer needs, physical needs, current projects, future projects, and any other pertinent information to the committee. The Liaison’s goal is to form a bond with that Mission Partner and be the face and voice of NLC to the partner.
