Ministry for Young Families
The Young Family Ministry is a place of intentional gatherings. We are a community that focuses on a fun fellowship that inspires conversation, discovery, and development. Our Christ-centered connection is promoting a powerful presence for children and parents alike. Together we are influencers for the Kingdom. We balance work, life, and ministry, while building the microcosm of society: “The Young Family.” As a result of this ministry, young families will pray together, play together, and praise together.

Fellowship
We want to create opportunities for young families to have fun together, and grow spiritually and practically as parents. This team is in charge of planning one fellowship event per month: assisting in planning, coordination, and promotion.
Discipleship
Discipleship is equipping and growing together in God’s word. As we formalize this group we will determine if a monthly, bi-weekly or other meeting frequency is best. At the heart, this discipleship group is a Young Family House Fire. Your meeting notes would come directly from Pastor Shawn’s message. That’s right! Your group would just be for young families. Would you be interested in leading a group, hosting a group in your home, or possibly both? This is a great opportunity to build community.
Missions
We are the hands and feet of Jesus, who has commissioned us to be fishers of men. This team will meet online (through Zoom) to plan, prepare, and coordinate one to two mission events per year.
Women's Ministry Connection
Our goal is to bridge the gap between our Young Families and Women’s ministries. Young women bring energy and enthusiasm to the wisdom and experience of our accomplished women. Together, we are stronger and more effective women of faith for our families, church, and community. As ambassadors in the church, we must remain intentional to network and build relationships with other women in the church. We will encourage the women at Young Family fellowship events, Women’s Ministry events, and outside of church services in general.
Social Media Manager
This individual will be responsible to add new families to Young Families Facebook group. Post upcoming events, event pictures, fliers and family interactions.
Who Can Serve?
The Young Families Ministry is open to members and non-members alike. However, there are certain events that we hold throughout the year that are open for members only. So what are you waiting for?!
